We are citizens of a world dramatically shaped by technological progress. According to Edward A. Lee, computer scientist at UC Berkeley and the author of “Plato and the Nerd”, technologies are co-evolving with humans: Whereas we are developing and propagating technology, computational technology is creating artificial intelligences that will augment our capabilities. Therefore, the range and extent of what we can do seems limitless - or not?
The Faculty of Informatics invites you to a panel discussion with the Faculty’s International Advisory Board about the interchange of humans and computer science. Where will we set the borders of the cyberworld? Which roles will engineers and scientists play? How will conflict and cooperation shape the land of humans and artificial intelligence? We invite you to discuss the creative partnership of humans and technology.
