“Best Paper”-Awards für den Arbeitsbereich Database and Artificial Intelligence

Die zwei Best-Paper Awards auf internationalen Konferenzen gehen an das Institut für Informationssysteme

Bei der Conference on Web Reasoning and Rule Systems (RR2010) in Bressanone/Brixen (Italien) wurde das Paper “Redundancy Elimination on RDF Graphs in the Presence of Rules, Constraints, and Queries” von Reinhard Pichler, Axel Polleres (DERI Galway), Sebastian Skritek und Stefan Woltran als “Best Paper” praemiert (www.rr-conference.org/RR2010/).

Die zweite ausgezeichnete Arbeit “CF2 Semantics Revisited” stammt von Sarah Alice Gaggl (gemeinsam mit Stefan Woltran). Ihre Arbeit wurde gemeinsam mit dem von ihr gehaltenen Vortrag bei der Conference on Computational Models of Argument (COMMA 2010) in mit dem “Best Student Paper Award” ausgezeichnet (www.ing.unibs.it/comma2010/).

Die Arbeiten sind im Rahmen derWWTF-Projekte“Service-Oriented Data Integration” (ICT 08-032) bzw. “New Methods for Analyzing, Comparing, and Solving Argumentation Problems” (ICT 08-028) entstanden.
