The Coordination & Communication Centre is concerned with organisatorial and strategic tasks of the faculty, which can be classified into 3 major areas of activities: Central computing laboratories, central agendas, and strategic planning.
In the area of central computing laboratories the centre performs planning management and support for the three computing laboratories comprehensively used by different institutes. It is responsible for all agendas on faculty level like public relations, administration of central resources, contact for the Central IT Services (ZID), and coordinating activities in the area of teaching. The third main area of activity is the support of the faculty for the development and implementation of strategic measures like the computer science development plan, new institutes and new room use planning and e-learning concepts.
