The Algorithms and Complexity Group is hosting an international congress combining a number of events and a summer school in Vienna.

Algorithms have become the rulers of the modern world. Join their creators in Vienna, from September 4 – 8, at now already 17th ALGO congress, with a pre-congress Parameterized Complexity Summer School (PCSS).

Congress Hosts

The ALGO 2017 congress is hosted by Algorithms and Complexity Group of the Faculty of Informatics, TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), sponsored by Google, and organized in cooperation with the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS). Conferences & Workshops The congress is combining the premier algorithmic conference ESA and a number of other specialized conferences and workshops (IPEC, WAOA, ALGOSENSORS, ATMOS, ALGOCLOUD), all related to algorithms and their applications.

Summer School

Following successes and interest in pre-congress events in the past, ALGO 2017 hosts also the Parameterized Complexity Summer School (PCSS), covering some of the recent advances and applications of parameterized complexity in economics, logic, and Artificial Intelligence, aimed to attract broader band of researchers. ALGO is the European event of the year, for researchers, students and practitioners interested in algorithms.
