Peter Lieber, entrepreneur of the software company LieberLieber, talks about ups and downs, and about his daily challenges

Abstract

Peter Lieber talks in detail about life, failures and success as an ICT entrepreneur during the last twenty years. In his presentation Peter Lieber focuses on personal emotions and learnings about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial actions. He will share these experiences with entrepreneurial beginners to start them reflecting on their goals. Peter Lieber talks about how to handle banking institutions and investors, reflects on awards and criticism during a career as well as on strategy, experience, empathy, and ambition. A main point of his reflection is ownership structures in a startup: Which ones are approved, which are dangerous and may bring the company to a standstill or even worse.

Peter Lieber describes real examples gained in his own experience at the search of a “blue ocean”: the niches favorable for success!

Biography

Peter Lieber has founded the software company LieberLieber in Vienna. For over a decade one of his main concerns is the transfer of technological knowledge about distributed systems (n-Tier, SOA) and application development systems to software developers. His current slogan: Do you still write code or did you already start to model?

Peter Lieber is characterized by his innovative ideas about promising ways to find new solutions. Companies and managers wishing to implement new ideas in the areas of technology and communications will find a committed companion in him.
