Which documents do I need for my application?

Application documents: Should I hand in copies/scans or originals?

The application form has to be submitted in hard copy as well as electronically. All other documents can be transmitted electronically, via e-mail. Upon request students must be able to provide us with all the original documents within 10 days.

Which English Language Certificates are accepted?

I have not yet completed my degree, may I already apply?

Yes, if you expect to graduate before June 30th 2009. If selected, you must be able to submit your degree before June 30th 2009.

I am not a citizen of the EU, may I apply?

Yes, students for this international PhD School are recruited world-wide.

I am an international student, where can I get help with visas, housing, etc?

OeAD, the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research is Austria’s leading non-profit service in the field of international co-operation in education and research.
