Teaching

The major fields of studies at the faculty of informatics at Vienna University of Technology are computer science and business informatics, which are the biggest and fourth biggest courses of study , respectively, at Vienna University of Technology.

Most of the courses are held in German and knowledge of the German language is therefore a precondition for the bachelor and master studies, except for the European Masters Program in Computational Logic.

The European Masters Program in Computational Logic is an international distributed Master of Science study program implemented by the computer science departments of five cooperating universities. >more

Teacher Accreditation

Secondary School Teacher Accreditation (Lehramt Informatik und Informatikmanagement)
Duration 9 semester.

Doctoral Program

After completion of a master's degree or an equivalent qualification a "Doktoratsstudium" is possible. Since the doctoral thesis can be written in English, knowledge of the German language is not mandatory.
