Award of Excellence 2008 geht an M. Wimmer
Der Award des BMWF zeichnet österreichweit die 30 besten Dissertanten des Studienjahres 2007/08 aus und ist mit je 2.500 Euro dotiert.
Das Bundesministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung (BMWF) vergibt mit dem Award of Excellence 2008 erstmals einen Preis für besonders herausragende Dissertationen.
Manuel Wimmer vom Institut für Softwaretechnik und Interaktive Systeme, Arbeitsbereich Business Informatics wurde damit für seine Dissertation auf dem Gebiet der “From Mining to Mapping and Roundtrip Transformations - A Systematic Approach to Model-based Tool Integration” ausgezeichnet.
Die feierliche Übergabe des Preises erfolgt am 24. November 2008 im Bundesministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung.
